I always mock at my bro's iPhone X as it has similar UI to my older phone(Jolla C with sailfish which is derived from MEEGO). There is no point in arguing with apple fan boys. They always tell bullshit by believing apples Marketing.

Before, you have to get a smartphone to get 3G or LTE phone. 3G/LTE is not just about data, but about better voice call quality as well. For many, this is more important than having a smartphone. Good thing few companies realize this and make feature phones with 3G/4G radio.

Shanti Dope, 12 May 2018LOL it's all about megapixels! "Oh look, my F5's front... moreXiaomi phones do deliver 4k video recorder even on a budget phones. I like Sony's selfie camera too and also it's a wide camera! It doesn't need to use software to widen the shot.

Anyways, I do impress high MP phones, but Sony delivers the best. Even almost flagship phones use Sony's sensors!

Geric.770, 12 May 2018Example: Almost all my classmates are using Oppo F5 becaus... moreLOL it's all about megapixels!

"Oh look, my F5's front camera is twice as good as your S8's front camera!"
Oh dear, I would say it's actually Sony's XA Ultra series that truly have the best selfie camera.
16mp 1/2.6" sensor, f/2.0 lens and OIS! That is nearly the same exact hardware as the Galaxy S6's rear camera!

Btw 3 of my friends own different Chinese phones; Oppo F5 Youth, Huawei Mate 10 Lite/Nova 2i/Honor 9i/Maimang 6, and Vivo V7+.
I own a Redmi 5 Plus, and among all of us, my phone is the cheapest, yet has the largest battery size among all.
Heck, even records in 4K! And IR Blaster!
They say selfie cameras are better on their phones. Well, at least when I tried them, they're not even close to the Galaxy S8's front camera. LMAO

Anonymous, 11 May 2018I did not say that ALL Filipinos loves selfies, I said ALMO... moreExample:
Almost all my classmates are using Oppo F5 because the selfie camera is better than the S8....
The truth is... Not really. S8's front camera has autofocus and has better low light performance.
Yup. My classmates do not care specifications!

Developed countries where people make more money like Japan, US, etc use iPhones. Poor countries like India, where people cannot afford to buy iPhones use Android. Infant the story about Jio makes me believe there is even a need for very low cost phones in poor countries, which can open up a possibility of a 3rd operating system to come in to play.

Phone is not making people smart. Because of those "smart" people who likes open system, Android has a lot of viruses.
Most of the people just need phone with internet. And both - Apple and Android manufactures can offer it. Apple has amazing marketing and that's why they are icon at the moment. Most of chinese companies can only copy but their marketing is very bad. But since all phones getting more expensive people will choose more and more iphone because of the service. At least in Europe and North America you can even compare chinese brand service and Apple service.
