I guess this is because if reliance jio in India here.... it giving unlimited 4g at peanuts... now whole of India is on youtube watching useless videos.... causing very heavy load on youtube servers.... so this is for reducing that load

cats are not a problem, annoying and retarded channels are. There is just to much click bait channels with fancy thumbs that are made by some really rude teenagers that do nothing but laugh at things or copy/paste viral videos.
90% of those channels have 10min where first 2min is intro, then another 2min is "how cool i am" then 3min of advertising, 2min of actuall content that dont fit to description and last minute is another advertising... Its a matter of checking "trending page"

It ain't gonna stop people from watching YouTube videos Google, unless he/she wants a change for the better for themselves in spending time watching videos. But even so if that option is a must, some will find a solution to disable that. So yeah, there's no point doing that Google, it won't help for most people...

Would be nice if i dont see these videos on my main youtube page where i press not interested. Seems that even that function in there is hard for googletube to understand as after refresh it's back or next day it's back. Basically need to spam full day long and hope youtube will finally get it but usually there is no chance of that
