Nokia Finland confirmes severa, firmware updates during the next years to come. Always trust Nokia regarding updates and follw up their commitments.

the phone has faster browsing than firefox in a laptop and of course faste than Iphone and samsung 2.
It is handling the power in the Graphic processor combined with tha processor as no one else doeas.

        It is indeed impressing.

And personally I think every thing they seems to do in the phone just is the fastest as any phone can do.

        design also streamlined.

price in sweden now approx 5000-55000 euro.

        With contract nuch cheaper.

This is a game changer, N9 is setting new standards.

People need to educate themselves that the Nokia N9 is not a pure Meego phone. It doesn't have the vanilla Meego OS. It's Meego-Harmattan which is largely programmed in and based on Qt. Qt is the Nokia N9's core platform. Meego might die but that doesn't necessarily mean the N9 will be dead as well. Nokia, earlier, even promised software support for the N9 for a few more years.

There is also a Finnish retailer who has had a price available for a while now: http://www.ellos.fi/cv/_/N-?Ntk=All&Ntt=nokia+n9

This onlinestore does not specialize in electronics, so I would assume that their prices would be in the upper scale

The problem with MeeGO isn't only Elop....Intel too abandon MeeGO

Intel has not plans for continue developing Meego...

Nokia can stand behind this phone, but not Meego. That can be the only failure of the N9, if there is no developers for Meego, Meego is condemned to doom.

AnonD-1082, 07 Sep 2011That's like saying WebOS is not dead. MeeGo is dead no matt... moremaemo.org is a running comunnity for n900
n9 will get the same treatment, for sure

i dont talk out of my bottom, there are a lot of people, similar to xda, that keep maemo alive.
its the facts, not my opinion. nokia has given up on n900, but there is still a large userbase for it.

Just to expensive for what it is!
Plastic material, MONO Speaker and nothing shiny on it to be proud to hold on your hand for your money!
Compare to any other devices on market this days,
this MeeGo N9 is not worth more than €200.
