Just so you know. A 16GB LPDDR ram isn't even released yet. And a 4TB memory module for internal storage? Did you think that 4 1TB memory module can fit into the smartphone? A 512GB smartphone of any brand including iphone is already too expensive for anybody to own. And if you think that apple could do a 4TB/16GB of ram. You think anyone would buy that phone if the price range is somewhere at $4,000 or more?

It's 2018 now, Apple don't set the bar, just a glass ceiling.
The 1TB/8GB version should be the entry level model, the range should top out at least at 4TB/16GB by now. It doesn't take much 4K video recording to use up a few TB and 3 or 4 VMs would nearly max out the rest of the storage and RAM.
I haven't bought a PC in over a decade as I can do most things easily on my phone, word processing and printing are OK for my needs, even the very rare occasion I need to use a piece of Windows software, I can do it on an WinXP virtual machine.
The only justification I can find to buy a PC is for CAD work for my 3D printer, as that is really tedious on a phone, except OpenSCAD which works well. But all I really should need is a bluetooth mouse, keyboard, USB C to HDMI cable, plus the RAM and storage to run a virtual machine more efficiently, as most Android CAD software sucks your wallet dry, or just sucks (with the odd exception). Of course a phone is easier to keep safe from destructive children too, locking a PC in a cabinet like my printer would make quick edits impractical.
Of course if all you are is a social network zombie, well an old iPhone will be more than you'll ever need...

GSM should review this phone. It is secretly one of the best phones of 2018. I have the Black 128GB / 8GB version.... there's no faster phone on the market. The camera is great. Battery life is superb. I did a review of it vs. OP6 on another blog site... It was a close match up but the Smartisan R1 beat it with its unique features.

I have the 6g/128g white model and it is awesome, super speedy, great camera,fantastic screen (even though its IPS) and a few neat features that i say are a welcome addition. GSM arena should take another look at this brand

Useless top tier, I don't know what you need to do to have 1tb on a phone I can, 128gb is way more than enough even for demanding users

And 8GB of RAM for android is capable of handling 256GB of internal storage and another 256GB of external storage thanks to microSD. Making it a 512GB mobile device. A 1TB of storage on a 8GB of RAM isn't enough to maintain its speed and performance.

Cuz the black is truly black as the oled is off, the small factor being how black you can make the oled when it's off........
