It might be a nice phone, but couldn't they make the name even longer? One gets the next birthday until he pronounces the whole name - Asus Zenfone Live L1.

The Indonesia Central Bank's quest to slash the last three digits (triple zeroes - 000) sparked some pretty unnecessary controversies and silly debates all over Indonesian's media.
Still, it's rather positive to hear that this long digits they have right now is just a matter of habits and not because of some nightmarish inflations.
Now, back to the topic: I'd love to see the performance of this phone (3GB version). If it's decemt enough, I might buy this instead of iPod Touch for my multimedia needs.

Android Go with 2GB ram!! just because it has Android Go, doesn't mean they cn halved RAM while asking as much $$ as full android. yeah, 1GB ram is enough when it in fresh state + 2 social networking lite apps, and then start crawling when they add more apps + vendor bloatware.
In this price sensitive market, 1GB is okay only and if only it cost

This will help improve the performance of the phone and feel nearly as snappy and fluid as most mid range to high end smartphones despite the low end hardware running on it.
And as we all know, not all people can afford a $200 smartphone, let alone $300 or more.
This is a big help for OEMs to create a super low budget phone without compromising that much for performance and usability, and it's so selfish of yours to say that we don't need it and shouldn't have to be a thing (yeah Ik you didn't say it, but it's what you mean with your sentence).

It is half ... moreyes because apple had to do all the hard work to research and stuff to make the notch and have a same size bezel around the screen and the face id by far the best face rec tech on aa smart phone and the perium parts they use for the phone it makes the phone expencive. what asus has to do is just copy and paste the notch and add a chin just because they are lazy and add normal face rec useing front facing camera and call a day. give some respect to a company who does the hard work, im not saying apple is perfect and they dont copy any one , im saying apple does things better, before you say that im a apple fan boy and stuff , im one plus 5t user and i am a proud user of galaxy tab s3.

You would get full android with normal specs at least 2gb ram and 16gb rom at that price 100$ example is redmi 5a/4a

The Zenfone 5z's price is amazing in Indonesia. It is half price of iPhone X.
