Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Oreo update resumed

After a short delay, the Android 8.0 Oreo update for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is back on track.

I bet Samsung pays employees to read our comments online on all websites that customers are complaining about the wait, and laughing their Fing Arses off. They apparently do not care about their customers, otherwise, we would of had it already.

          I'm still afraid of installing Oreo on my S7. Will wait a month reading user reports before installing the update the moment it arrives in India. I generally don't care about OS updates except of security patches.. Perfectly fine with Samsung Modified Nougat because all the features in it will take Google a few more years to implement in Android.

                it is high time S7edge galaxy phone orieo update still a illusion in india. for last one year we have been waiting but got hopeless. really samsung has no responsibility.

                        I updated mine the day it was originally released and now it is hard bricked. It doesn't charge. It doesn't boot (in safe mode or any other mode). I have had to pay £30 to claim under my insurance even though I cannot send the phone for repair until I'm back in the UK in seven weeks time. I had to buy a Sony XZ2 the same day which I needed for business. Samsung have a lot to answer for for not properly testing this upgrade before it was released.

                        So now, I will have an extra phone which I really didn't want at a cost of €800 plus the £30 insurance costs.

                        I am disgusted with Samsung over this fiasco.
