Anonymous, 10 Sep 2011http://maypalo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Samsung-Produ... moreWow! Cool! This should be +1 Rated!
While I don't agree that Apple should win in the court because there are alot of other phones/tablets out there that are just as similar as an iPhone/iPad.
Any other company could be in this same picture. It just shows what I was writing in my other comment at an article 2 days ago:
If it weren't for Apple we would all still be happily using Symbian S60 v3 and Blackberry phones.
BTW: I didn't even know Samsung made these fugly tablets before iPads. No wonder they were newer popular! :/

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2011so why apple copied android widget? What widget? They copied notification bar, because it's something everyone wants and something iOS didn't have and Android had. This is the first case that Apple copies Android, not vice-versa.

AnonD-16587, 10 Sep 2011Of course, Apple has copied Android in this particular case... moregalaxy s and tab dont look anything like iphones though this is what i dont understand cos they dont feel same or look the same except its got round edges its bigger screens bigger hardware keys are diffrent shapes, everyones always saying that they look the same but they dont they just both have slightley round edges, and apples so obviously scared of the tablets that they felt the need to hand in fake evidence to get them banned, its just pathetic they recognise that ther is a product better and try and get them taken off the market for the pettyest little thing, and obviously payed off the courte cos the case should have been thrown out as soon as it came out that they handed in doctored evidence case should have been thrown out at that point

There is also an even more obvious iOS rip-off in Nokia, their media launcher in Symbian 3.0 is identical to iOS homescreen.

Even after iPhone5 , Android&Samsung will still be the TOP selling.
iOS simply can't do anything about this, unless it will become more OPEN.

[deleted post]Well that's what I was trying to say. Apple produce ways of seeing and ways of using, not the technology and design themselves. They claim the rights for the way in which we use technology, as their invention.
App-centric, multi-touch capacitive screen, smooth-sliding eye-candy phone bars is THE paradigm that Apple invented and rendered popular. We can no longer imagine phones in other way, and everyone is doing the same now, even when they try to be aesthetically different.
However, Samsung doesn't even want to be aesthetically different - they are mirror image of Apple, with better hardware.
Dude, they actually modified Android to look like iOS+widgets!

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2011http://maypalo.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Samsung-Produ... moreVery good!
I truly think Samsung copies Apple. The whole world is actually copying it, Samsung being the most obvious in it.
It is a world dominated by Apple paradigm. If something is going to be with different approach, no matter how great, it will be invisible, undetectable.
That's why it is called a paradigm. Paradigm is more than just object of observation. It is the way of observation, a world view. Apple produces paradigm instead of products, and it's doing that through seduction.

I'm just enjoying the news for now. Wow, I can just imagine the headlines once iPhone 5 launches. Rivals believe me, are keeping eyes open on this one. Like it or not, it's what everyone is waiting for, and I myself can hardly wait!
