Anonymous, 20 May 2018I don't care if ZTE exist or not.You should care even if you don't even consider buying one of their phones.

Each time we loose an option we loose leverage over the phone makers. If we keep loosing those options it'll be the same device year after year with the only change being a higher price. There won't be any reason for the few remaining players to innovate, and they'll be sure to share that lack of concern with our wallets.

they need the chip to implement their equipment, if it stop? then they can not running the business.

AnonD-625430, 18 May 2018After all the bad publicity, do you think ZTE can revive it... moreThey were never big in the US. The reason they closed the production is because they couldn't get any processors. It turns out it's hard to sell phones without internals. I'm guessing other SoC producers like Samsung said they weren't interested in selling Exynos processors to them as, in Samsung's case, they do do big business in the US.
                  Do do! \o/

Anonymous, 18 May 2018ZTE should use windows phone osActually Windows Phone doesn't want to be 'dead', as it seems. Got pretty big update this month.
