Stock Android notification center and quick toggles but with permission manager (which is a huge plus to be honest. The first ever Android rom to feature this) and no app drawer. I wonder where they borrow these features. So it's not weird since every literation of MIUI has been borrowing stuff from other companies. This include stock Android who has been borrowing from custom ROMs and a major Korean company and also some Cupertino company who is also borrowing stuff from other companies ever since the genius jobs died.

YoloBS, 19 May 2018If its comes with revolutionary notch, i can wait another y... moreYeah, top bezel. So much better. I like useless space on my phone's frontface too. It's not as if I can hide the notch by using black background on the notification are. No sir-e, take away that fancy stuff.

I like my dead space and the notification bar down where screen/useful space could be...

        Ding, ding, ding.

Anonymous, 19 May 2018I don't think it will be ending that fast. For tech to end ... moreWould you consider buying a phone (option A) that has a notch like the OnePlus 6.... where the notch is smaller, centres the speaker, and flanks the camera/sensors?

Or better yet, what if both ends of the phone had the notch, so it was symmetrical?
And it would also mean you would have two speakers facing toward your ears (option B).

Or even better yet, what if the phone had the dual-speaker notches and the inner-screen was actually a 16:9 scale with the notches bumping that to a total 17:9 figure (option C).

Or do you prefer absolutely no notch (option D), like the LG G6, with a 16:9 aspect ratio?
Perhaps slotting in two speakers at the ends like the Pixel 2XL, so the bezel isn't wasted.
Besides, the bezel gives you a place to hold/grab when watching videos, playing games, and passing the phone around to prevent accidental screen taps.

              Example; what if option C phone's dimensions were 140mm x 76mm x 8mm.
The screen's dimensions were 134mm x 70mm. Effectively giving a YouTube video a window of 124mm x 70mm (16:9 ~5.6 inch). Where the notch-area (sensor-speaker-camera) is a third, a la, 22mm x 5mm.... and the notch-free ("ears") is 24mm x 5mm on the left and 24mm x 5mm on the right. Effectively giving a total Screen to Body ratio of 86.1% (9380-110-110/10640) for when you're in the browser. But if you're watching a YouTube video the Screen to Body ratio is lower at 81%. Compared to the Samsung S8 which says it has a Screen to Body ratio of 83.6%, but when watching a YouTube video it is ACTUALLY a mediocre 68%.

I hope this MI 8 will not get the same fate of Note 7 by skipping the number of their flagship.

This will work for literally any type of display.

I hope this leak will become real. Oled display, ud fingerprint, high hardware and water resistant too. For headphone jack, hopeless..
