The Mi was the first company to launch Mix phone version which Apple copied and added some AI features as the Apples A 11 bionic processor supports AI and Honor created the kirin970 to compete with Apple but there is no global chip available with AI support earlier,hence apple was first with Notch and then AI processor SD845 was released from then MI is coming back to prove,MI tries to make the phones faster than before through update, but Apple relaesed an update to slower down the older versions of phones

To all notch haters out there.
Personally i didn't like notch at first. But when i checked the diagonals carefully, the notch on iPhone X or any other phone for that matter was NEVER a cut-out, but rather an extension of the screen. That means you are not losing any screen by having a notch. You can say LG had such a notch in V10 & V20 2 years back, but it was only on one side.
One drawback of a notch could be some contents getting cut-out. Those notched phones do have option to disable usage of notch for anything other than notification bar. That still gives full 18:9 display for apps.
I personally prefer android way of keeping a little chin since it reduces cost and also keeps the display centered when watching a notch-free video.

I really like Xiaomi, they have to sort out their SAR values, use OLED more and fix their 3.5 Jack's, but if they make a notched phone with a lower bezel and two vertical cameras, i ll write them off, like the rest!

one thing i dont get is...
if everyone wanted stupid notch then everyone would buy ishit right.
why every brand trying to copy something that majority actually hate....cause ifruit did it...i mean really?!

Great phone great price.
At least Xiaomi knows how to attract / charms customers instead of others so called leading brands where people pay 2-3 times as much and for nothing worth th 2-3 times bigger price.
