I'm wondering why LG and Samsung always produce something that look quite similar. And to all, don't comment on Symbian iOs or BADA or etc...because this is about LG new phone..not about which OS is better.

Evil droid app dev, 12 Sep 2011Symbian is much smoother and stable than android. also sum... moreSymbian are great and u have ur words true, but i have use almost all Nseries of Nokia, eSeries model, they were great in normal use but u are wrong in one thing, not all symbian is smooth as what u say, Symbian S60 was the lag on N95 N73 N79 N86, even the Synbian ^3 or the symbian anna also lagging on some field, what they can do on opening apps is somehow slower than droids, what they uninstall app is slower than droids.. haha

of all lg devices, the optimus 3d is the most customized due to the 3d hub. Thus wil take the longest to update.

Since it is newly announced model, it should be gingerbread platform, if they still releasing in froyo, then the update will take ages to come just like Optimus Black and 3D. SE is about launch its Xperias to 2.4 soon, it must be a tough situation now for LG in making late updates.

Nice move LG, a mid-2011 phone with good specs and no Adobe flash support(?). SE did this stuff, releasing a phone with a major component missing and on the brink of bankruptcy they changed. Do you have to go through the same path?

Lame chip set, same for Galaxy Gio and Ace.
Its ok for day to day tasks but is getting very old and 3D is not up to par.
Even the new Mediatek MT6573 @650MHz have a PowerVR SGX 530.
