    Never Buy Samsung device again, Going back to Nexus/Pixel.
    Samsung is the worst in providing updates. Never gonna upgrade to a New Samsung device.

      shamesung busy in releasing in new phones with oreo even mid range smartphones but s7 edge still not getting oreo upadte such a bad update policy

          yess pixel phones are best even nokia and motorola give oreo update on their low end phones, it's like whole manufacturers gives oreo update only Samsung is lazy or unable to deal with issues

              When India will get Oreo update for #Samsung S7Edge

                BTW, The G930L is a south korean version. Samsung is a south korean company, so of course they will first release for their country & then other places. So if you have any other country version then you'll have to wait for a month or two for Oreo. The update will roll out for other countries one by one. Be patient.

                  I can confirm this is real. I saw this article yesterday & immediately checked for OTA updates, and to my pleasant surprise, it started downloading right away. The update was 1.44 GB in size.

                  My phone model is Galaxy S7 G930L (LG U+ carrier).

                  It's running on Oreo 8.0 right now. It's not much different than Nougat 7.0, but there are some smaller but useful improvements in the UI. There are animated face stickers in the camera. You can set up videos as lockscreen wallpapers. Other minor things like these.

                  Performance & Battery life seems to be the same as before. I'm satisfied with the update overall.

                    I flashed the BTU firmware over the INS. Works supersmooth. Ofcourse Knox not tripped since I flashed the official firmware. Samsung took a lot of time updating this device but the Oreo update is brilliant! No microlags and no stutter whatsoever. I can't actually comment much on battery life since a lot of my battery is already degraded and I constantly use S Health and other GPS features. But who needs an excellent battery life? We always carry power banks with us.
                    The update is really amazing and hope every region gets it ASAP.

                      when there was nougat in the all the mobiles Samsung give marshmallow out of box, then after so much time we get nougat now same drama is happening for oreo very bad software update policy.

                          Not in the UK as yet. Do have the April security patch though. (Unlocked S7 G930F)

                            when india get the update oreo

                              as much as I really hate how slow is samsung's update roll, yet I always appreciate how much advanced their soft has became recently, Oreo will give my loyal S7 edge a couple of more months before I retire it in favor for my new-to-come Note8 or S9 Plus which even has the best bundle while am buying it.
