DanishBeacon, 27 May 2018Not in Denmark, you don't. S9 is almost 7000dkk (900€) and ... moreAFAIK Denmark is in Europe, so you can very much go to Amazon(.de/.es/.it), buy one at that price, and have it shipped to your home. So yeah, you can.

Dr. Chillo, 28 May 2018Ok seems like you're not familiar with OnePlus or you're no... moreSo you agree that card data (PII) was stolen feom the website and not the phone? What happens to your "privacy concerns" from using oneplus devices, then. A website getting hacked is not the same as a phone being insecure.

Also, you do get the benefit of max CPU when opening apps. That is what contributed to the amazing Android experience which OnePlus delivers.

piku, 28 May 2018This phone is not meant for you so stop complainingBetter to say I'm not that blind to buy this phone.

about CPU you mean heating up CPU until melting point is OK? it is not dude it is not. only because OnePlus program it's phones to heat up as much as they can when a benchmark app is running it doesn't mean you as customer get or able to get that much power otherwise your battery and whole you device would be dead in less than 6Months.
have you ever contact OnePlus because of a software failure ? first thing what they ask is please install *name of the program* on your computer and let us control your computer and flash the newest update on your device, haha seriously ?? is it a reliable company ? which smartphone manufacturer ask you to let them get control of your computer with admin permission and your phone connected to the computer ?
come on man i can't believe that you close your eyes on all of these stuff and sure that's not lall

schlip, 28 May 2018OnePlus makes nothing special... They copy+paste designs f... moreThe copying part is about as right, as saying; Apple has a mobile with a screen and rounded corners.
I wish they copied, that would mean no chin and components in the back which costs a lot more.

Consider that in most countries OP6 is still about 150€ cheaper than Samsung S9, and another 100€(total 250€) to iPhone.
Ant this is 256GB vs 64GB in the others. Quite a bit

SD slot is just a nice to have feature but never anything that should give plus points. I own phone with both and much prefer without and larger storage.

So for the 150€ less at bare minimum I'll take OP6 anyday. This is from someone that tests phone at work and often use 2-3 at a time.

Wireless charging would be nice, but that's it. Nice but not needed.
Camera is great for this price and based on testing so far it holds up well and it almost as good in certain cenarios as it's more expensive cousins. That is considering 150-300€ less than competition.

Be glad there is competition and if they just copied, Thu would be sued.

                        OnePlus makes nothing special...
They copy+paste designs from other companies (apple front and samsung on back), insert fastest processor and lots of RAM to look good on paper, and sell you a phone.
Their phones have no special features at all...
Oneplus is no longer budget manufacturer, selling phones without features for only $150 less than premium brands now, take Samsung S9 as an example, for $659 vs $529 unlocked you get QHD screen, official IP rating, SD slot, stereo speakers, wireless charging, better camera (change aperture and 960fps videos), NO NOTCH, AND ORIGINAL DESIGN.
Clearly you can see where Samsung's price went... RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT!
Oneplus is just another Chinese manufacturer, rip off other's designs, add some spec sheet eye candy and sell for 20% cheaper.
Obviously, you could forego all the above-mentioned features and get the oneplus to save 20%, but you would be missing out on 50% of the features.

Show me one credible article which shows that OnePlus uploaded any PII / NPI (as it is known in banking / financial services sectors) data onto their servers. The data uploaded was related app usage, opening times etc. How is that a privacy concern?

On the benchmarks, as long as the CPU speed is available to the user in any scenarion (e.g. app opening, games etc.), it is not cheating as the benchmark is running on what the phone is capable of when pushed to the maximum. One may argue that the level of CPU usage is not sustainable, but then all phones are thermally limited (not being actively cooled)

Oneplus made a great phone this time again. I would say i was not impressed by OP5/5t mostly coz of camera shortcomings and issues with the screen on some models, but with OP6 I think they nailed it!
Its a super fast phone, great screen, great camera, HEADPHONE JACK and if you buy 128/256 Gb ver. you do not need a sd slot.
I'm still on Oneplus 3t and this phone is still very fast and lagfree. I managed to use up to 50% of my 128 storage and I'm on Oreo 8.0 since November 2017.
How many others brands are able to deliver these results for this money?
