Having your front camera normally placed on the back of the phone provides a great privacy addition. You must have heard about hacked computers and phones whose owners can be monitored online.

Put it in Xiaomi-like price with unlockable bootloader, and I'll buy it in a heartbeat. The unlocked bootloader will be used to flash AOSP or other ROMs... it would be very cool...

It is a genious idea actually.

That one leak with the glass panel showed at least one "hole" in the bottom bezel. How that will work for daily usage will be interesting. How good will it be at sensing the difference of being in a pocket or blocked by a palm when it's being held?

Iphone X has bezels and they are really ugly.... It could be really beautiful if they had ordered curved displays instead of flat ones but obviously they were expensive

all you have to do is to make the phone a bit thicker on the bottom (or a super thin flexible OLED/TFT display would do)

Other manufacturers haven't been willing to go to that length, hence lower bezels.

why would flexible AMOLED (whick is plastic based display) be more expensive than the regular (glass based) AMOLED?
yes you would need OLED on a full screen since there isn't much space for a big battery to save power BUT ViVO All ready has AMOLED
and for the guy who said "Apple did it" I want to tall hem two things
1-what ever the F is this "bent screen" is APPLE iPhone X is SUPER expensive and the screen is Samsung made AND it has no screen "Edges"
2- can you see the notch? the not doesNOT add ANYthing to the estate it is only used to display notification and even the unused pixels as long as it is controlled by the GPU it will consum battery and GPU power

Also the notch is not a problem it can be hidden if one uses black notification bar.
So this phone does nothing. It hides the notch permanently (it's mostly useless space even when no notch is there anyway) and retain the bottom bezel that everybody has.
In other words: nothing special.
Nothing like the concept (90%+ BtS ratio)

Speaker requires breathing space. Besides they kept sensors on panel. Bending it meant sensors need to be bent too. Again, more money than what people would pay for a Vivo...
