For some reason Apple is still going pretty strong among high school kids. Wonder why.

SEE ANON, PEOPLE WANT DIFFERENT THINGS FROM THEIR PHONE ;)
If i would pick something else it would be WP7 device, but it's still very unfinished, but maybe someday...

I'm due for an upgrade with Orange at the moment, so a sales representative from Orange called me this morning trying to persuade me to upgrade to iPhone4 instead of waiting for iPhone5 to come out. She said that Orange are not expecting the 5 to be available until Sept'12!!!!!

Surpz, 14 Sep 2011Understand that in the mass market people dont need to have... moreno, actually "iHaters" exist mostly because:
1.) we do not like the shenanigans of the Apple company (all their vendor lock-in practices, shady "security" measures, their patent-whoring and how they handle competition etc. etc.)
2.) we do not like the way Apple products work and their features vs pricing ratio. Which is actually in and of itself not really a problem, UNTIL...
3.) APPLE PRODUCTS ARE VIRAL AND SHOVED IN OUR FACE EVERYWHERE and we cringe seeing more and more people entering the "Apple ecosystem" (read: "vicious circle to put you and your money at Lord Jobs' whim") because they heard it's cool to have an Apple product. Even I have fallen for this (years ago)...

Iphone 5 at least should have:4.0 inch display;1 GB of RAM int. memory;4G ; Camera 8MP sec. 2MP; new ios5;
CPU at least 1.2 Dual Core and good battery life sa always, if not then sales will not be good as it was with ipone 4.

ah yes, the haughtiness, snobbism and pretentiousness of Lord Jobs' followers
Since you mention living / having lived in villages, I can't resist the urge to shove your argument on the opposite side of where it came out of.
Cause you see, last time I checked living in a village does not impair your ability to be smart, educate yourself and commute to a proper school, highschool and university.
Oh, and by the way, from where did you get the idea that we are Samsung's fanboys. I, at least, currently own a Sony Ericsson and a Nokia, and am considering a Samsung or a Motorola.

Understand that in the mass market people dont need to have a whole office in there pocket and what the iphone does have and does do is all they need and it does it by far the best. you cannot get better userbility that ios and that is what sets it apart in the mass market. If you need all those specs that the iphone doesnt offer then fine get a different product but dont bang on about how the iphone lacks this and that because for most people it doesnt lack anything and that is why it wins award after award for customer satisfaction... Andriod is for some and ios is for others, no need to go to war over it! personaly i think ihaters are gutted that the iphone was made for the mass market and not for the tech guys and thats why you all slag it off. 4-5 Biggest? carriers are going to sell this in US.
I cant even think how many many millions this is going to be sell, it's going to be very HUGE :) it's going to be something beyond this world.
Hope Apple this year finally has managed to ship so much phones that everyone get their iPhones, every year they has underestimate their ahipments.
