Just for your information JBL is number 4 best sound maker which is awesome anything made by JBL excells in outstanding quality and can last a very long time.
You should be happy you have a JBL and if they are not as good as you said then there sould be some problem.
But as i said JBL are top sound system or sound device maker in the world.

I think you're just a rich guy not like me.. sorry for my poor life.. Jack is history no matter how you look at that.
Same for SD card it have no future soon the phones will have so large disks inside that the SD Slot will be ntot needed.
Why someone would like to have an SD Card in a phone with 256GB disk space?
There is no reason for that.
So please accept it or go cry somewhere else.
I will not repeat my self again.
S10 will be without jack for sure.

AnonD-731363, 30 May 2018Man only till now. I can guarantee you after a 2020 year y... moreAnd I 'guarantee' you that 3.5 mm will be far from dead. The same way the SD card should have been dead and buried by now, going by the opinions of your kind, but its still alive and well, with most new phones from top manufacturers having a slot. Two years ago I was being told to get over it.

Consumer is the king and companies will serve the king. Despite noisy protests from your kind, almost ALL polls have shown that more than 2/3 rd PREFER a 3.5 mm port , inlcuding one on Gsmarena also. Most customers do not give two sh*ts about an extra 300 mah battery capacity or thinness if it means leaving out the 3.5 mm. Again, this is empirically proven , as opposed to your claims.

Again, you WISH it was dead. But thats not the case. Samsung S series will continue to have 3.5 mm ports and so will LG. Other manufacturers blindly following apple can go F*** themselves. They are not going to be getting my business for sure.

I can guarantee you after a 2020 year you will find no phone with jack no new phone. So you will stick to the history until you will have no other chance than buy a phone without jack.
Maybe you dont know but S9 is last samsung flagship with jack.
Foldable S10 for next year will have no slot or plug for jack. For the SD card i dont know yet but soon as the working prototype will be out i will tell you. From the sketches i can speak only about jack.

Even earphones have low or high quality depends on price so whats your problem.
                    What do you want?
You know that bluestar earphones for example cost like 30 cents to make and in casual shop you can get them for like 5-10 eur.
For another example Bose earphones cost like 30 euro to make but sells for not less than 120-200 euros.
Just to your quality for a price. What do you want whats your problem mate?
Please tell me because i really dont understands you.

I can't stand these copycat companies who brought notches to their phones. I don't even like iPhones but this notch-copying problem is getting ridiculously stupid.

still, i need it. aptx isn't lossless (ldac is), wireless earphones doesn't sound good for the price, and i have plenty of quality iem's i'd still use.

no jack + notch = pass from me.

With apt X HD, Bluetooth can live without the jack.
But the question why remove it in the first place?
To host a bigger battery? More water resistant?
                            Or just because Apple did?

In a simpler term, it is the transition time. 3.5mm will be history in smartphones, but there are still a lot of manufacturers producing equipments for it. Hence the adapter. By the time those manufacturers start producing USB type-C equipments more than 3.5mm equivalent, adapters will no longer be supplied. This period can take a long time (2-5 years, could be more), but will eventually end anyway. At least there are already USB type-C headphones and earphones now, even if the numbers are currently low.

SohailSays, 26 May 2018No. 3.5 mm headphone jack is must. It's not. It's a menace. Finally it is dead!

Internal 3.5mm means the oem chooses the dac (no, I want to choose my own!). Means it uses space within the phone which could be better used. Means it's harder to make the phone waterproof.

I'm much more aghast by the lack of rem battery (infinite battery, zero charge time) which solved autonomy (and now it is a problem again).

don't know why so many people here say 3.5mm jack is history? lf it really was why they are selling USB-C adapter to 3.5mm? and why are all "sound" companies still sell 3.5 mm jack headphones and earphones? and does 3.5 mm sound quality compares to mediocre bluetooth for the same price?
just get over the fact that xiaomi and other Chinese companies are just trying to copy everything apple puts in its phones wheter it's good or bad?
I am not saying the phone is bad it's a beast for the price,I am just annoyed by how praise you give to eliminating a very simple and enormously useful feature and considering it part of "progress" it's just blindly copying no more no less

Of course they will sell more Redmis than flagships, since their markets consisted of developing markets with lower income levels. Altough Mi flagships are cheaper, that's not mean they are cheap for everyone's budget.
