i hope the headphone amplifier will be at the level of power of iphone4 or nokia n91 in order to drive big headphones. if not, this device is useless for audiophiles

I returned my Sensation for it's quiet speaker, random album art, sporadic ability to upload to YouTube & inability to dependably shoot 1080p. With heavy Sense 3.5, this thing needs 1gb of RAM like its competition. To compete w/ Sammie, it should have a megapixel front camera, too. Between Sense, nHD (whatever that is) & Beats Audio, I'm guessing battery life will be even worse than the first Sensation. That red is hideous. As for the Sensation 1 owners, way to create buyer's remorse - come out w/ the successor only months later. HTC, Sammie & Nokia need to calm down and get a marketing strategy instead of releasing new phones & rumors of new phones, twice a week.

looking forward to hearing the sound quality on the XE especially with the custom made Beats Audio headphones, with HD recording as well this should really be a dynamic handset for the truly creative types. Battery life looks good too!

I think they meant qHD (1280*720), not nHD (640*360)

Hope it doesnt have the same death grip issues as the original sensation. And i fail to understand why HTC keeps on using 786mb ram only.. ?? why not upgrade it to 1gb ?

AnonD-17348, 14 Sep 2011nHD S-LCD display? Isn't nHD 640x360 pixels? No, previously when Nokia N97 and Nokia 5800 Xpress Music were released then they called their 640*360 resolution to be the nHD because it was from the high resolutions of that time but now 800*480, 960*540 and even 1280*800 are available....so now they are now known to be nHD, especially 960*540

I see 4Gb of internal memory, a bigger battery, faster processor, decent sounds and headphones and Sense 3.5.

no changes to the RAM? that tell us its gonna be just as laggy as the old sensation or perhaps even more cuz of the new sense. i hope it wont have the heating up, screen freezing, lagging, dust under the screen, rebooting issues

Um, that's Sense 3.0 there, not 3.5 (that's on the Bliss). Also, battery's replaced with a 1730mAh one; and there is word on the pricing, which is supposed to be around $800.

if GSMarena take the audio quality test with this handset, then it's the only Beats equipment ever tested with professional method. Beats rarely mentioned specs about their audio capabilities...

Its not Runnymede..... Runnymede has single core CPU, 205 GPU, 1.3 Mpx front camera, 16/32 GB internal storage & a 4.7" 480 x 800 screen.

XE has dual cores, 220 GPU, VGA front camera, 4 GB internal storage & a 4.3" 540 x 960 screen.

With these specs Sensation XE will be gem of a phone.... however with Beats headset its cost will definitely above $900 which is way too much.
