Kumar Priyam, 18 Mar 2015How many gb shown in memory card of 64 gb because in 32 gb ... moreThe OS will show around 59.9 GB but that's not because the SD card manufacturer provides less than they specify, but rather because Windows measures storage on a different scale than the SD card manufacturers. That's why you see 28 GB when the card specifications say that it's a 32 GB card.

So I have a cheap android tablet called the d70proII, it runs 4.1.1, I wanted some more space on it and chanced a 64gb class 10 sandisk, I saw this youtube video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYUg14u_co8 that led me to believe there was a chance it would work. So I tried it, it didn't work out of the box, and although it said it would need to format it before it would on the tablet it didn't.
I plugged it into a usb dongle and in to my home linux laptop blew away the paritions and created a new one doing a mkfs.vfat and once that was done it works on the cheap tablet :)

darkmax, 19 Sep 2011You must be joking right? I have been using a 32GB microSD ... moreI could be wrong but, there is a definite limitation on FAT32 Cards. Its not 2GB though. Its 4GB's. Any file larger than that would have to be broken up before transfer or you'll have a problem. Formatting to something like NTFS and the like would be the only solution for that.

The SGS2 works with this card if you format Fat 32 before using it. But there is still the limitation from Fat32 until there will be a Costum Rom with NTFS Support.

It is the magic of VLSI that these small sized cards can store billions of bits data. I myself am proud to be a VLSI design engineering student :-)

regs, 17 Sep 2011any OS with exFAT support will work with it without problemsYes, perfectly agree. with a minor or no F/W upgrade recent generation of Smartphones should be able to accept and use even 1TB size of cards.
Will try with my SGS and N8 :)
