Are they sure they did not leave behind iPhone 4? Too heavy an OS?

BiyoBiyo JunJun, 05 Jun 2018what if its true ??Emphasis on 'if' word. That word concludes that we still don't know yet if this so-called significant update on iOS 12 will still impact the battery or not.
If it's true, then we could scream at Apple for their "utter ignorance and deep incompetence" on battery aspect. Until then, we have no rights whatsoever to bash them. I'm on the same boat as you: skeptical about them improving the battery aspect software-wise. But I'm not screaming at them claiming they have failed on an OS that's haven't even released yet.

Anyone know when the update is coming out? I can't wait for the promised performance updates for my extremely slow and laggy iPad Mini 2.. I've always despised Apple, I just use it for ForeFlight..

iOS 11, yes I have to agree: it kills the battery to some extent. But iOS 12? It's not even released yet. Even if you got your hands on it, it's still in beta.

As long as iOS requires itunes to transfer and sync my photos and music from pc, I wont move from android.
I hate it when I have to connect to pc itunes, delete my photo and music from pc, resync everytime I want to delete a single photo or album from my device. It does not make sense.

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2018Trust me it's going to get sloooow.I know it will ;) with every promise of performance it just gets worse, add to that the limited internal memory which gets less after each update.
When she complains about it I just say: just insert a bigger SD card... oh wait *evil grin*

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2018If you have to ask that then you don't know much about the ... moreIn WP, Microsoft took the same mistake of letting operators and OEM control the updates, Lumias was no exception. The rest was hardware related stuff; both wp7->8 and after that wp8.1->10 was because of lack of ram and weak SoC. The only exception i remember was with the 1520, but given wp10 born dead, i dont think much people care.
Nothing of that happened on desktop which is the equivalent of android in marketshare terms.
But lets say i dont know, will you care to explain why Google cant give users the updates they deserve?
