Someone Else, 05 Jun 2018Actually, Samsung updates their low end tablets very well. ... moreTab A 10.1 costs almost as same as Tab S in India. And there are much cheaper tablets which never gets any update in typical Samsung style. Even Chinese companies treat us better these days

Old galaxy tab A were unimpressive in some places, but they offered good value for the money (especially with almost no competition around)

The entry level should be like an inexpensive bookreader.

My old Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with S-Pen have received an update from Lollipop to Marshmallow to Nougat with Samsung Experience 8.5. That's two major upgrades for a low end tablet!

The problem is that only the new flagships get updates. Galaxy S2... no... Galaxy A tabs... no...

Good thing Samsung still keeps producing Tablets and supports with security updates (not major updates anymore).
