1280 x 1024 its 4:3 square but it's suppose to 16:9 or 16:10 like 1280x720(+/-) it's kinda wired ratio according to the modern age hd demand...

I won't buy other smartphone unless it has at least 3000mAh of power juice or better battery technology.
and for god sake, give us a smartphone that can fit our pockets (3.7"~4.0" is more than enough).

1280x1024 is not 4:3.
1280x960 is 4:3
1280x1024 is 5:4
Last time i checked.
It seems the specs are bigger than the galaxy note. But the Note is confortably close. Perhaps there will be a note 2 with specs similar to galaxy S III

it wont be faster than your dual core laptop.
A quadcore arm at 2.5ghz is only as fast as core 2 duo at 2ghz.
We are talking about a core 2 duo and not even the core series which are faster or more productive at the same speed of the 2ghz core 2 duo.

these specifications are really incredible
this resolution is too up and a quad-core cpu why we need a cpu like this ?! if sami wants to go on in this way , it will produce a 16 core cpu in near future ! sth upper than intel corei7 !
and battery is poor to run this device !! i think the material will be plastic again and samsung do not make a metal galaxy !
if it be from metal it should be heavy and not easy to carry !

stop crying about the bigger screen guys, it'll be awesome and Im sure of it, can you imagine a 4 inch screen with 2GHz quad core processor, it would do things before we even touch the screen (exaggeration).
the bigger the screen the better (in my opinion) because it would be awesome to watch videos in it or play games and the Super AMOLED III display will be breathtaking on that size of a screen, if 4.3" is good enough to sell 5 million units in one week then 0.35" wont make THAT much of a difference.

nvida quadcore is coming in q4 this year so this will be real soooooo what about the GPU??? we really dont use quadcore phone but who cares here comes

i think it far away from the realaty .1280 x 1024 its almost 4:3 square TV. quad clocked at 2 GHz ,the 2XXX mah battery wont be enough for the this quad cpu!! let alone the produced heat .
i think this is all possible but not in a 9mm thick phon

1280 x 1024? Very strange resolution to be used! , but if true .. i think it will be non-square pixels , maybe it's due to the sub-pixel arrangement (some kind of High-PPI limitation in the SAMOLED manufacturing) , pentile arrangement come to my my mind where they will use 2 sub-pixel/pixel either red+green or blue+green (= RGBG)..
if the pixel width to height ratio is 4:3 (125% width) , then it will be equivalent to 1280 x (1024/4*3) = 1280 x 768 which is logical resolution with 5:3 display ratio (or 16:9.6 if you want to compare it to the 16:9 & 16:10 ratios )

This phone looks awesome. My next phone will be sgs3, without a doubt. It has better specs than the minimum windows 7 recomendations! WOW!
