I still can't believe that a company CEO can be so stupid...I mean, really, there is a limit about what you can do and you cannot do, and these guys from Lenovo crossed that limit by an Earth-to-Mars distance.

This phone is a complete joke. I was expecting it to be at least without notch and symmetrical, but it’s such a lie, really bad phone with bad specs, design identical to any other in the market. What a mess.

Well many poke fun at other manufacturers when they copy aPple, but I guess that does not goes for lies?
But of course for this writer, only other vendors are crooked... not the company with their entire business model being the Emperors New Clothes....
That said it is indeed sad to see other companies also trying to cheat their customers.

Just had to read the article again, fantastic, made laugh, even more than the first time.
Hand on heart it's the best thing I've read for a long time , and so so true.
I have genuinely no problem with Lenovo, I just appreciate truth.
There is no doubt that gsmarena have just said it exactly like it is. Brilliant.

Lenovo was never going to be able to accomplish what bigger companies like Apple and Samsung failed to do. Most commentators at GSMArena and such others showed their skepticism too.
The company lied. They didn't have to, but they did. Furthermore, they managed to dupe tech journalists including GSMA into thinking that they have invented a phone with unbelievable specs.
However, some unnecessary race-related comments are being made here that may be uncalled for.

For 1, I didn't watch any of their press release event/video or anything.
For 2, I feel like more and more people on this site are getting silly or even stupid. I meant is that like you are definitely the buyer of their products, and have lenovo ever mentioned it anything Officially when everyone is making a buzz about it?
If they never did, I don't see the "lies" that everyone's talking about.
Or I simply don't care, is not like I would buy a lenovo phone anyway. But, seriously tho, people going crazy about a buy that they would never buy and assuming everything from a render pic that they see on the internet are just stupid!

I am really disappointed, I thought Lenovo was going to release a phone with the specs they promised, I can't believe they released this bullsh*t with that ugly notch and chin. ok a chin will be acceptable, but a NOTCH? I just can't believe this, I had big expectations for the z5
