notch is needless with obvious large bezels. if they did, better with small production scale, it just because people will go for redmi 5/ 5plus rather than ugly notched screen with big bezels.

Screw the notch Xiaomi, it's bullshit in such cheap phone where bezels will not bee so small that you actually need to use it.

I accept it is realtively compact, but for me is big - it goes 1 cm higher than my mi4 (which I took from my wife after I bought redmi5 plus and used for few hours)

For me on specs 6A is the perfect device, but it is huge. 5.45 inch screen and 147.5x71,5 means that it has half centimeter fat side bezels and almost 1 centimeter at the top and the bottom. LG Q6 also isn't the bezelless phone, but with a bigger screen - 5.5 inches it measures 142.5 x 69.3. Of course everything depends on the price. If Redmi 6a is up to 130 USD with 3 GB RAM, I'll have to buy it. I am in a search for a new phone for almost an year and the phones are getting bigger and more ugly. Of course I am on a budget, since the phone is the last thing I will pay more than 150 USD.
