I guess you not a parent who like to video call their children from work once in a while. Kids love it. So does my parents who havent seen my face for years. That chin is photoshopped. It is bigger IRL. Still, it will probably be the best STB ration at 92%. The price tag of $1100 is ridiculous for a Chinese phone with no support or warranty. The cheaper one at $700 is different with the camera at the bottom like the Mix with 87% STB ratio. If they can make the one with pop up camera with a P60/710 for $400-500 they would own the mobile phone market.

At first, people were complaining about the notch, now that the notch is gone, they're complaining about a teenie-tiny bottom bezel that is just a tad bigger than the side and top bezels

If you dont even know what that is then you just another ignorant. Truthfully it can be folded away like Apple did for iphone X but it is too expensive.

What's the point of having a pop-out selfie camera if the bottom bezel is still there?? Put the selfie camera on the chin itself, voila! Mi MIX already did this front design two years ago!
I know I appreciate the pop-out selfie camera up there, but what I am saying is if that's the case the bottom bezel should also be eliminated.

Very bad attempt on bezeless. Bottom bezel ruins it. Xiaomi did this and better 2 years ago.
Also the notch did nothing wrong. It takes a place that is otherwise useless. If it was not for fanboys and tech sites screaming their lungs out, we would have had (already) beautiful notch implementations.
Ones where the notch is as minimal as possible and flushes with the the background (notfication bad w black background).
Dat bottom bezel is a sin though and should be out already. One more reason notch os needed as it can house the sensprs / FFC)...

And NEX is based on APEX.

Not a bad try at a bezel-less phone, but definitely not worth $1100. Especially since these Chinese phones have no support or warranty for US customers. Put in a P60 and I would pay $400-500.

Think of it like video game commercials which look awesome, then you see at the bottom of the screen 'not actual game footage'. It's very, very common.
This is all guesswork, but I would bank on it being almost identical in terms of bezel size to the OnePlus 6, but without the top notch. Perfectly acceptable bezels, but not as small as these promo images suggest.

I'm looking forward to seeing it in action.
It means the phones either won't support, or if they do don't rely on facial recognition. Which i'm more than happy with, so long as that in-display fingerprint scanner is fast enough.
