    There is No OEM that can beat Motorola When it comes to Camera Performance in Mid Range and Budget Segment.

    Xiaomi Skims Out on Cameras on Most of it's phone , Its obvious its needs to do cost cutting to offer a cheaper price.

    Also the Better the Aperture the better low light performance.

Still doesn't change the fact that RN5Pro gives you better specs than the G6. You can argue that Xiaomi phones don't get android updates. But at least they MIUI updates, which is much more feature packed than stock android. I still do prefer Stock android, but I can see why people like MIUI. Now let me breakdown the pros and cons you just mentioned.

      RN5P has "shitty" f/2.0 while G6 has f/1.8. You know which phone also has an f/2.0 camera? The original Pixel? So I guess the G6 has a better camera than Pixel? My point being, aperture size is only a part of the camera not the defining factor of whether a camera is good or bad.

      RN5P has a ripped off design, whereas G6 has an original design. I'm sure Moto was the first one to make glass back phones.

      RN5P doesn't have glass protection.. It seems like you made a mistake, but I'll let this one slide.

      RN5P doesn't have latest quick charge.. G6 does.. I'll give you this one. But if my phone lasts me thru the day, I don't give a damn about how fast it charges, I'll let it charge the entire night. That's just me tho.

      Android Oreo out of the box for the G6. That's great. You'll be able to upgrade to Android P when you buy the G8.

      Xiaomi gets only 1 android update. As compared to moto getting.. what? At least MIUI updates don't cripple your phone like the Oreo update for G4..

      Boy if you're comparing Tata to Lenovo, then you're too far out. Blinded by the fanboyism, and for all the wrong reasons. Moto used to be a legacy brand. It used be good. Now it's not. I know it's harsh to see your favourite brand making shitty decisions, like really? 450 for 15k? But it's time to open your eyes. Just look at what they did with the Z5. What makes you think that Lenovo is a reputable and trustworthy brand? Moto is nothing but a husk, a dead corpse of a brand that used to be good but now is used as a gruesome puppet for cheats to make money off the people who like to believe that puppet is alive.               Slightly Under clocked but Almost the same.

              Everything Else The G6 will Skin this Phone Alive , Also When it comes to Midrange and Budget phones no one can beat Motorola with its cameras the G5 plus to this day is the Best camera ever in the Midrange / Budget Segment Even Comparable to some of the flagships of its time.

                  1. If on paper camera specs mean better camera, then I guess the Moto G6 is on par with Pixel 2's because both are f/1.8, heck it even adds a secondary sensor, so it is better as per you.
                  Also, Pixel 2 has an 8 MP f/2.4 selfie cam, so I guess the G6 has beaten a flagship in the camera department.

                  2. Note 5 Pro has Gorilla Glass, and even the G6 has no ingress protection.

                  3. Having used multiple Moto phones in the past, and right now using a Xiaomi, I have experience with service centre's of both of them (more than once with Motorola). And considering my experience with both the brands, I guess I am in a better position to judge them. And my experience says Xiaomi service centred are much more superior in every measure possible than Motorola's.

                  4. I am sure you have no experience with MIUI, so let me clarify. MIUI is probably the best optimised custom skins in. You are making statements without having any knowledge.

                  5. Considering Lenovo's hand on Moto. I bought the first gen Moto G when it came out (when Google owned Moto). It came with JB, it was updated to Lollipop. I then bought a Moto G Turbo Edition (probably the first device under Lenovo's Moto). It came with Marshmallow, it's still at Marshmallow even today (it's with my dad). It's security patch as on today is still some month in 2017. And probably you have never heard of the Moto G4 Oreo update fiasco.
                  Ask Moto (actually Lenovo) to provide their latest features (eg. protrait mode with a single camera) to their 2015 lineup, which Xiaomi is providing. Motorola's security update schedule is worse than Xiaomi's (again this is based on experience, I am not making any baseless statement).

                  Motorola WAS a legacy brand, Lenovo has destroyed it. When Google "resurrected" Motorola with the G, E and X series, they did great, great phones at great price. They shook the market that time. But after Lenovo's acquisition, they have just destroyed that Google's legacy which made Motorola great again.

                      so how many SD625 powered device offered by Xiaomi now with very similar pricing specially in India , Sorry I lost the numbers, any help? :D

                        Nice one Xiaomi no MIUI 9.5 for a phone powered by SD 636 and priced 15k nd 9.5 Oreo for a phone in phone having SD 625 and priced 10k . I like it 😑😑😑😑

Mi is going to the same very soon. They've like 3 more manufacturing plants being set up in India. Xiaomi promises to keep making only 5% profit on devices over the added taxes by Gov.

                                  Now you Will start Comparing it with Junk Redmi note 5 pro.

                                  Which has a F2.2 / F 2.0 Aperture camera , Ripped off design , No Glass Protection , No water Resistance , No USB type C still the ancient micro USB port , quick Charge 2.0 again ancient with no bundled charger etc etc and finally no branding just a counterfeit company Xiaomi , Still Android Nougat.

                                  Only thing is the SD 636 which does not even matter in real life to an average user and 4000mah batter which will give you the same endurance as a 3000mah battery because of horribly optimized miui.

                                  In Comparison you get F1.8 Aperture Camera , better build materials and original design , Water Resistance, USB type C , Turbo Charging , Android Oreo Out of the Box and Motorola Branding.

                                  Whether you agree to it or not Motorola is a more Reputable , Recognizable and Legacy Brand as Compared to Xiaomi.

                                  Also when it comes to service Motorola is Better than Xiaomi also they are built like a tank.

                                  Support what type of support Software support , Hardware support Xiaomi never ever updates their Phones to higher android versions phones come with one version and hardly get updated to the next its only the Miui Version that gets updates no security patches Nothing.

                                  Just Because Lenovo Owns Motorola it does not bring down it's Legacy , Tata Owning Land Rover Jaguar and Geeky owning Volvo have both these companies come down in value.

                                  I guess you need to brush up on your facts before suggesting others.

                                    They have priced an SD450 phone at 13999 for 3/32. Redmi Note 5 Pro 4/64 is 14999 with much much better chip, arguably equal or even better camera, better battery, smaller footprint etc.
                                    And, even though it is stupid to compare a phone priced at 10k with something priced 14k (ie 40% higher), still this Y2 is undoubtedly a whole lot better than G6 in terms of Value for money.
                                    And as for which is a better brand, Xiaomi has much much better service centres (at least in Delhi), and provide much longer and regular support to their devices that Moto. But yeah Moto is better, because you said it is better without knowing any facts.

                                      Finally Xiaomi Increasing the Pricing Slowly but steadily Guess the Value For money thing isn't working out for them.

                                      Its a Fact that Value For Money Or Breaking even On profits is not sustainable in the long term unless they weren't back by the Government they'd Be bankrupt by now.

                                      Motorola G6 is a Much better Deal than this Crap Full HD+ Screen , USB Type C , 12 MP (f/1.8) + 5 MP (f/2.2) Camera , Turbo Charging and Original Design also a much Better brand than Xiaomi also with the SD 450 SD625' S younger brother.
