I really don't know what's up with Pixel phones that I perceive them as ugly at first and as they become older I start to like the design.

No matter whether the image is true, I am angry that Google again will not have a rear dual camera.
Google asks people whether they care about a dual camera and they say no. That's like asking people in 2008 whether they care about a phone with a touchscreen...
Since the Nexus 6p Google hasn't upgraded the HDR+ mode image quality. In fact the Nexus even seems to have slightly less noise than the Pixel 2. And Google's portrait mode has the worst depth of field issues.

Oh, the single camera on the Pixel 2XL is still better than any others out there whether it be double or triple cameras on board. Go seek out some proper comparisons.
More importantly, it is I think a case of don't like, don't buy!

Seems to be one of the ugliest notches in the business. It seems that Google really wants to maintain the tradition of making the Pixel XL one of the ugliest phones on the market.

Got to love 'premium' smartphones, pay hundreds of dollars extra for exclusive features like no memory card, no headphone jack and a notch above the screen.

Chin is ok, notch is something we have to live with if we want normal, long-life cameras instead of jumpy gimmicks or awkwardly placed ones. But isn't that a 4gb ram phone? For a top notch phone I'd expect 6 at least.

Let's see. This phone will probably cost as much as a S9+/P20 Pro, and for that price effing google isn't even giving dual-cameras or wireless charging. Then there's the fact that it looks as ugly as any previous Pixel phone... I just don't see why anyone would want to buy this overpriced crap.
If you want fast updates, you can buy a OnePlus/Nokia/Sony phone instead. Pixels are a scam. Seriously!

Where does the speed come in? Only an idiot would think wireless was quicker than wired. It is convenience and flexibility which demand that the phone I get has wireless charging. I don't assume that everyone wants nor needs it, but it should be in any supposed flagship. Particularly important when the device has a multi-use USB. Incidentally, does my comment only become true if I had been coming here 10yrs?

waiting for pixel 4...this year is a mess with all those notches and chins. hope people doesn't upgrade this year and all companies have worst results than last year to force them to think better with their retard decisions. smartphones are getting better at a point is pretty much futile to change phone every year..it's like buying a TV every year just because they add a thing that will only upgrade your experience 1% in real life.
