The global rollout of the Android Oreo OTA for the Galaxy S7 edge is well underway.

Updated 2 Samsung S7 in my home with smart switch. Phone feels a bit snappier now but time will tell.

Never ever will they match Apple for speedy updates for the simple reason stated above or provide longer updates per their business model. Good luck

          I prefer android but no brand is able to bring update as fast as apple.
          Apple is unbeatable for their software support. But the iOS is still horrendous.

          Why cant we get android with apple update speed.

          Forget pixel. That phone is almost as expensive as iphone x in my country. Just nope.

                Meanwhile note 5 pro which is launched in 2018 in India is still running on Android 7 as the OTA update for 8..1 is being delayed and here we have a 2016 phone getting the oreo
                update
