I really haven n't liked Apple's behaviour this year.Rather than push the envelope for design and innovation, they've wasted all their energy on lawsuits & trying to stiffle their competitors as they come close & even surpass them.They've become the Cellphone equivalent of Microsoft.In fact , these days Microsoft actually listen to their market. Maybe Steve Jobs is just becoming more negative as he nears his final months on Earth

Its better at storing those movies on an sd card. Wow, it took all of 8 seconds to come up with uses for some specs.

All I hear is over-hype.
I believe it will be of similar specs to the galaxy S2 but samsung are soon to release the galaxy note which looks amazing.
All the specifications I have seen for the new iphone have been similar or lower than current android phones

Talking of BB i was very disappointed when the bold 9900 arrived and had a stupid fixed focus camera and poorer battery life,,its as if RIM shot themselves in the foot..Nokia kept doing the same with low c-disk space and their new E6 has a fixed focus cam..These are buisness orientated devices and its paramount for auto-focus for qcodes and reciepts and document scanners,,oh i give up on these companys at least Samsung/apple/lg/sony ericsson are living in the real world.

RIM should make BBM available for all platforms but should also charge alot for it on any non-BB platform if they want to stay alive. Also give priority in terms of update and support to BB users, because they really don't offer anything else other than BBM and security. As for apple vs. android, it's stupid how people bash one company over the other.
If anyone ever chose android because they hate apple then that's just the dumbest thing ever and vice versa. iPhones are amazing, and so are androids .. what we should be fighting for is one OS that combines those two together, no trying to seperate them even more.

The iphone4 brought a retina display with ips technology,exotic design of high calibre,thinnest smartfone,gyroscope,book store,etc in JUNE 2010...It has been 15 months of development since and they wont just sit back...Here is a scenario of what i mean,,
In 2004 a company brought out the best most powerfull smartfone ever and that was all we had and could not believe in any more technology,,till 2005 when a company brought out the most powerfull smartfone and we thought that was the limit...Then in 2007 a company brought out the most powerfull smartfone with real zoom and VGA video recording at 30fps and wifi,,,until 2008 when a company brought out an even bigger more powerfull smartfone with more tech onboard and we thought that was it, tech had reached a limit...I think you no where i am going with this but every year WE the consumer thinks thats it..
Then when we had 1GHz proccessors with 720p video record and a superAMOLED display we thought in 2010 that the sgs was the ultimate and tech had reached its end,,BUT NO,,,it carried on with ,HDMI out WI-FI b/g/n with bluetooth 3 and standard 1500mA battery. ..
By this time we thought that was it but NO we went dual core with 1080p video record with HDMI mirroring and super Amoled plus and mali graphics power..
So really we came to an end ,but no ,we decided to have parralax screens for 3d,2 cameras on the back for 3d video recording and photos ..
So all this and now we think its the end but it cant be..In 2005 we had no idea this would happen and even in 2009 we did not know about super amoled or dual core, dual camera smartfones..Apple will not sit back and will have to raise the bar especially as it has to remain big for another year...
We do not know what will happen in 2016 just like we knew nothing about 2011 back in 2005.Things carry on and inventions carry on..I hope there is a return to button clamshells with high power specs eventually or more fones with built in stylus,but who knows???..Brynn

Good.to see apple has come up with morse original ideas.Stupid of blackberry to seel them bbm.Apple are not coming up with anything original no more yet losers will sti buy them.This changes nothing again should be the new slogan!

It's about time they upgraded it... Still wont buy one though. For all of Androids "downfalls" its still a damn site more attractive than iOS. I do like how Apple have one phone. I'm getting so confused with the multiple spec'd different model Galaxys that are out. I'm to scared to buy a SG2 because of the hundreds of other ones coming out! Lol.

oh wait, who am i kidding, this trick always works, it did for 3g & 3gs, cause we all know people who buy this icrap devices don't have 2 brain cells to think it through, they just go with the flow & hype & buy it!

The only Android phone that has software to use that power is Xperia Play (and it does fine with a lot less). For the rest its just some random numbers that drain battery more quickly.

So if you're saying that iPhone 4S will be launch as the next generation of ip4, but then why ios5 is coming out at the same time in fall (according to apple.com)? for my opinion, IT MUST BE IPHONE 5!!
