Instagram decides not to roll out screenshot notification feature

I don't use instagram but I can only assume that this feature was considered because some instagram user was afraid of what they post on social media may be taken screenshot of? wtf? lol

Bullshit. PCs don't have such dumb restrictions, as screenshot blocking / restricting, different OS installation blockage, etc. If they do (like right-click blocking in certain websites) then it's easy to override. This is why I'd never prefer a smartphone over PC - smartphones are too weak (calculation power wise) and too restricted.

LOL, easy cheating on this! i even dont use this crappy app, but, if you have notice that take a screenshot of the someone history you just need other phone and take a picture with the normal camera of that desired post of instagram.
so, i think instagram team just think this and know is just st*pd as f*ck to make that warning if someone take a screenshot because someone can trick the system anyway.

Really it is silly to try to control for this kind of thing. The whole snapchat thing is silly, you are not fooling anyone by uploading "non permanently". *Everything* on the net is permanent. You thought wrong if you thought it was not. If you do not want people to know/keep it, do not upload. Simple enough rule...

I say keep what is good, throw away what is not, don't matter which company does it.
A notch is a million times better than having a bezel up there. Only fashion f**s think it does not belong . F fashion, I want function.
Apple started an excellent trend, Without her we would still be calling "bezeless" samsung like monstrosities...

Also tons of others things like clothing, places, food, etc. I like to save them in a sort of "cool thing to try out" gallery for later on.
Anyway, thing is, I'm happy we get to keep this kind of privacy at least. Good to know they still hear users sometimes.
