Sadly most "average" users wont care about their phone specs, heck, they dont even know how to use their e-mails, as long as the phones looks expensive or used by someone famous, most of them will buy it, and since they are the majority for the market...
Companies can do this kind of crappy overpriced phones ):

Take me advise and don't even bothering to release this phone in india, we can find better phone in half the price.

The battery would be great for the v30 or G series. Heck just copy motorola with attachable batteries

The S8 Active is perfect, but sold only in US. Why not sell them worldwide? Possibly because it out performs the S8/+. I really wish manufactures would consider a beast version of their flagships. I get the looks issue, but some need function over form. A Pixel 3, with 4500 battery would be great. Can you imagine a V35 with a 4300mA battery? Be a 2.5 day phone.

I can't understand why their flagship line doesn't get these battery capacities

Long lasting low end phones will ensure LG remains popular to the masses. On the high end, smaller sealed batteries will ensure LG's flagship phones look sleek and chic, hiding the fact that as sure as the sun rises, the smaller capacity batteries in them will start to require more frequent charging from year 1 onwards. Given that flagship phone buyers can afford to replace phones every year or two, they wouldn't mind it and will in fact justify the deteriorated battery (smaller capacity batteries deteriorate faster) as the reason to upgrade and buy a new phone. Either way, manufacturers win. That's how it is with LG and Samsung at least. Not so with Huawei (for now).

Martin, 18 Jun 2018LG G7 3000mAh X5 4500mAh why LG why, LG V40 need 4500mAh.I agree, I commented on one of their cheap phones last year, asking the same question. Poor battery in their flagship phones and great one in their cheap phones with such poor specs no one outside of the poorest countries would want them. LG just screws things up royally.

lg become more like samsung in midrange section

LG, are u out of your mind? If u think that your LG Q series is any better, this one will only worsen your brand's reputation more, or should I say, it is already ruined? Your advertisements don't even attract people to the brand, but to the sponsered celebrity. Like your advertisements with BTS, if u give a damn to look at the comments, most of it will only be people very hyped about BTS, not LG

It can cost 100-1000 but still manufacturers wont protect mobiles from bad quality usb, corrosion, screen shatter, plastic construction, water, not working mic. And plus lying, greedy operators.
