The N Series , E Series Everything was super expensive , So were the Lumias , Nokia Used to Sell SD 200 phones for 10k.
Similar to what Samsung sells SD 450 for 30k.
Which is a good thing IMO.

That was possible because they priced their phones reasonably. Nokia 6.1 price is not at all reasonable. I hope Nokia will understand this soon.

Why do you think they will sell a better model with better specs for lesser price.
13-15 is just wishful thinking , Nokia is Not Competing with Xiaomi or Never Will.
China pricing is always less , Everyone was Expecting Nokia 7 for 20k and the rest is history.

Most phones are sold in the 10k-15k range. Xiaomi wouldn't be the best seller in India if they "kept their standards". Nokia brings this at 13k-15k and we have a smash hit. Most people won't bother otherwise. And this phone is aimed to be competitively priced. Wouldn't make sense to sell it at $500, just to keep their standards.

Pay a liitle more to a bit different than the others.
Nokia should concentrate more on upping their brand value , Xiaomi is Mass market but has zero brand value.

Whats the difference between the model numbers thats being quoted in all the articles on the x6, TA-1083 and TA-1116? Is it for the difference in memory & ram configuration?

I'll get one for sure but first I'm gonna sell off my junk phone which is Xperia XZ. Update was fast and in a timely manner (monthly security patches only). But providing nothing new for each updates, still the same old s**t camera UI, wallpapers even the clock widget!

Nokia should take the place of xiaomi because there are many more like me who are just fed up with this brand. Worst build quality I have ever seen.
Nokia should price there phones a bit more aggressively to take down xiaomi.
