most OPPO user's world wide are China and South East Asia, like Malaysia etc. Next to it comes Australia.
North America and European users are almost nonexistent.
But since Xiaomi is successful in Europe. OPPO is trying to have a piece of the cake. with it's OVERPRICED flagship!
another contender but with unknown future. is ZTE Nubia (sub division of ZTE). their hardware is really good and at a fair price and even bootloader unlocking is allowed and their release kernel sources faster than Xiaomi does!
guess what OPPO does neither of that!
NO bootloader unlocking. so u can't get rid of ColorOS cancer!
NO kernel sources releases. which violates GPL licensing (Linux)
OPPO forces you to buy a new phone if you want an Software upgrade!
OPPO only wants brainless users which spend money without thinking. so they want to scapl off from Apple's market!

Price is a massive fail, who will buy this find X instead of Samsung or other big brands, answer is no one, Vivo is more clever and NEX S is no brainer considering almost half cheaper than find X

OPPO will be like a new start up company with unknown brand from China. And while there are already Xiaomi in the market that have big lineup of devices with either very low budget range with better hardware then Samsung, Sony, LG and so on mid range devices they i dont see much of a future to come in market with 999 euro devices. People buy Apple devices for that price.
