        Not that it sounds better based on numbers, but mostly in the real performance of the two. Both have the same 8x Cortex A53 cores based on Samsung's 14nm FinFET process, but those individual cores from the 625 are clocked at 2GHz (vs 1.8GHz on 450), and while it won't sound that much significant in single core, having them work altogether gets to show its major advantage in multi core performance.

        I'd even agree for 630 or 636, but hell no for 450!

But why not push it a little and put SD636 or MTK P60 instead? I mean, the Prime variant had a more advance (by then) SoC compared to the regular 4 and 4X. It's such a shame no manufacturer makes a midrange compact phone. It's like it's even more likely for the Earth to be flat than for a phone like that to be released

                        alot of models choose this cheapy & old chipset even xiaomi

                          The best was and is still Redmi 4 Prime.
                          Xiaomi could re-release it with the same form factor but updated 5.3" screen (trending 18:9) with smaller bezels, and install Oreo on it, then it should be another winner.
                          They could also put dual cameras with AI thingy for the sake of more hype.

                              Another week, another Xiaomi launch.
                              I mean, wouldn't it be launch logistically better for Xiaomi to have just a single launch event in a month instead of 3-5, and launch all the 6-7 products that they intend to launch in that month, on a single day? Saves everyone's time, right?
