The original Mix was 17:9 ratio , Xiaomi Popularising is another Myth no one cares of its existence , People Can't pronounce Xiaomi , Mi (Emm Eyy ) , Mi ( Me ) , Redmi etc.
And the funny part is Xiaomi cannot popularise anything , Cause it dosent manufacture anything , But Both Samsung and LG manufacture Displays.

Another day another phone with SD 625 powered device by Xiaomi.
In India we have 5 device now with SD625 by Xiaomi, I don't know how many worldwide they dumped SD625 powered device.

Only if xiaomi released more software updates than more useless phones ,they have completely stopped giving their miui updates on regular basis like they used to do when they were new company

Those Brands your talking about never made First Copies of Phones like Xiaomi Does.
Also Sony , Samsung and all the brands your referring to have original designs , Which Xiaomi copies from , There are several instances For that Eg , Mi Mix was a clone of Sharp Aquos etc etc.

The only thing that differentiates this from the Redmi Y2 is that notch.
Last year, Xiaomi was great with a very streamlined lineup. And they were so successful!
Don't know who gave them this stupid idea of launching multiple phones in the same segment, they are gonna fall hard if they continue with this, just like Samsung in the mid range.

RANDOMS, 21 Jun 2018yes you are correct , but guess what no body copies essenci... moredon't get me wrong, even i like the desing what PH-1 did with the notch. but i hate when OEMS just blindly copies what apple does when there is a way better options like essencial did. please copy good stuff , like stereo speakers, water resistence, good camera, way better updates but dont copy what people hates. btw i dont mind notches
