Kiyasuriin, 25 Jun 2018Let me ask you something. Why do you need a 100% STB phone?... moreBecause, unlike tablets, you can hold a phone around the frame. This makes bezels redundant unless you're a toddler and if you're a toddler your parents shouldn't let you sit on a phone anyway... :p

Definitely Nex S, even OPPO Find x looks futuristic with that screen it's just price is awful, no phone worth to pay 1000 euro unless it is made from precious materials or can offer some holografic screen or something, but definitely not 92 percent amoled screen. NEX S offers even more, you have UD fingerprint scanner which is definitely more secure and better(not falling for gimmicky claims) plus is half the price, no comoetit ion here

suarez92, 25 Jun 2018People don't understand that moving parts are not forever. ... moreI'm a girl and that's offensive statement to me. Not all girls use the phone 100-200 times for a selfie, there are these girls who just listen to music. (Doesn't require camera), or use it as a gaming rig, or just a typical texting device.

                btw to TS,
you should give a credit to sharp aquos crystal, the first smartphone that omitted notch

People don't understand that moving parts are not forever. This is not future, it rather coming back to basics, where your flat cables were destroyed by every day use.

For example If you are a girl and you use your camera 100 to 200 times per day, that Oppo cameras of yours is not gonna work so long. Same with VivoNeX and moving front camera. It looks cool but actually its gonna have a lot of problems (water, sand, coffee). Also price is high for a brand that is not quite familiar. Wouldn't buy neither Oppo or Vivo because of reserve parts that are not reachable.

Anonymous, 24 Jun 2018Very nice but, honestly, having a mechanical part moving up... moreI think it's more than 10 times a day. Since it doesn't have fingerprint scanner and only use facial recognition, the camera will pop out every time you unlock the phone.

                      the design is really good
even though i am a bit disappointed with the fact that the screen is not really full display (no bezel).
before this, i am planning to purchase it (if it really full display) , but a tiny bezel on the bottom... make me think twice

Chinese phones are paving the way for real innovations. Saw this phone on YouTube and was genuinely impressed. However I feel like this mechanism should've been reserved for the selfie cam in order to reduce the frequency of it's usage. I also feel like it was a bad move to remove the fingerprint scanner.

There are drawbacks to every technical innovation which can overcome over time. This is a great step towards that direction (not like stupid fruit).

this phone looks cool, party trick. but i dont think this is the future though, this is a poor shortcut to hide the notch.

common phone can live without a protect-case, this phone have to fit into a flip case otherwise a drop damage can be very miserable.

Popping up mechanisms can stop working someday sooner or later and the phone will be useless. Maybe it just take one or two drops to break the mechanism. Who knows? I wouldn’t risk my money and as I see it’s not that cheap.

If the seal is good enough this has the secondary benefit of protecting the camera lenses, which for me is actually pretty high up the priority list.

Only downside I've read some bring up is if you lose the phone and have some lost phone track service enabled it can't stealthily capture photos of the thief.

The most beautiful and coolest phone to date, and people will be 'wowed', wait what just happened??
If only $1000 is easy for me, i'll buy one as my secondary phone, i'll use it very carefully. Still my daily driver will a midranger.

Probably the most interesting phone of the year currently. Nothing like the gimmick of the p20 pro.
