Really its nothing even iphone x with so called 3D face recognization can unlock phone if the persons face is same i.e twins and on video i watched even a child having some what similar face of his mother can even unlock the phone what the points of security in it. Why the waste of time i feel fingerprint scanner, lock password and even iris is more secure. Every thing has loop hole onto it why to waste time, Instead develop something new.
Imagine if your brother/sister or there are some people having similar face like us can even unlock the phone then why we need it?

Anonymous, 22 Jun 20183D facial recognition... following Apple's footsteps, like ... moreit only matter about the accuracy, which company first get it correctly, apple face id is still not strong enough compare to finger print scanner,I have seen in many occasions where pple bypass the ios face id,so which company will first make it more secure is what matters, even b4 apple face id,andriod have also got face id unlock app that is still not strong, nothing new, will need more innovation like unbreakable screen, atleast one can get the value of it money.

Anonymous, 22 Jun 20183D facial recognition... following Apple's footsteps, like ... moreYou say that and I immediately look at the headphone jack at the bottom of the S9. I see the fingerprint scanner is going to stay. I see no Samsung phone with a notch. 3D face scanning is simply what Samsung has to do due to the Iris Scan being a bit worse and that everybody wants a secure way to unlock the phone without touching it.
