Shanti Dope, 23 Jun 2018No one should've posted this. Now that it was, Apple will ... moreThe method is too time consuming anyways, with 6 digits pin it would take more than a month to brute force it.

No one should've posted this.
Now that it was, Apple will be working for a solution to this, and literally wasting the hacker/s's effort of making this successful.
Not that I'm a robbery man, but this just literally killed the supposedly successful mission. Everyone should've let Apple to discover about this themselves, while it can still be shared everywhere without having Apple to see it (like Facebook or Google would care about private messages anyway).

To all these people laughing at security of iOS, Android can be hacked far more easily than iOS, that's why no one cares about it. That's why no one built businesses around it, because it's literally a child's play to access a locked android phone.
What this guy attempted requires physical access to iPhone and tens of minutes to hours. And that too on old 4 point code.
No it's 6 point code on iOS, so it would be much more difficult, maybe even impossible to attempt it. Not to mention that iOS now also restricts use of external illegal attachments, which will likely make this method useless.
All these are cheap tactics to get famous, using old code method and woth no recent iOS security methods applied.

How to unlock iPhone:
Method 1. "Kid magic"
1. Find kid between age 4-6
2. Give him iPhone.
3. Turn around for few second.
Now there are 2 possibilities:
a. Kid will unlock phone and start playing games.
b. Kid will dissemble phone to tinny bits.
Method 2. "Ask nicely"
1. Go talk to owner of phone.
2. Ask him to show you that cute/funny video he mention on facebook/twitter.
3. He unlock device.
4. Punch him in the face and get the phone.
5. Run.

I'm laughing my as* off now, when I remind those short Apple videoclips on YouTube, advertising their OS to be much more secure than Android.
