I dont even use fingerprint scanner cause mostly it does not work. People seem to be paranoid cause they need these updates and there for justify Nokia droid higher price for it.

        For the new features and so on that you never will use and so on :D Like i have not used any features on 8.1 over what i had on 7 or 6.

        I went with xiaomi cause of the price and hardware. Dont care about updates and i dont care about new features i will never use or care about. If Nokia would give me same specs and similar price i would go with Nokia, but they are not. I have had something 20 phones in my life with over 20 years and at least 16 of them have been Nokia

I was just explaining the difference between Android One and non-One stock android, thast's all. Only 2018 HMD phones are android one (except for the chinese variants). Their 2017 phones are stock non-One.

              Why so paranoid? I never mentioned security. Android One is not just about security. There are countless reasons to pick an unmodified android one phone; no bloat, slick, fast, more available storage space, two major guaranteed android updates meaning you can have the latest features, etc.

You dont need to write a book of text to me of information about Nokia android that i already know from the day first HMD-Nokia was launched with android phones.

                  I dont hold information that needs security on my phones for the reason that it's a phone that i may replace or lose it and then someone get my info of passwords and so on that can be used and identity theft. I am not a normal or average user that have all there life in there phone so if they lose it they lose there life with it.

                            You imported your redmi from china and then compare its price to the nokias sold in your country?! You could import a nokia X6 from china too and it won't be more expensive than that redmi (although china sold nokias are not android one).

                            Nokia 6.1 launched in china at CNY 1500 (195 euros) yet X6 launched at CNY 1300 (170 euros), so there is no reason to think it would be more expensive than 6.1 in other countries, let alone 300 euros.

Redmi Note 5 (4/64) with Snapdragon 636 (no out of the box fast charger) is being launched in Pakistan against 33,000 PKR (272$) as compare to 26,600 PKR in India (15,000 INR/ 220$). While Nokia 7 Plus is available in Pakistan against 34,000 PKR (19,000 INR/280 $) with Snapdragon 660. but same is available in India against 24,000 INR. Now tell me which phone is real bang of buck?

                                  Thank you Android makers for saving Apple's arse.. Apple is going down with first their removal of 3.5mm jack, then their ugly notch, no Touch ID and stuck with only unreliable Face ID.. Yet Android makers came in droves with no 3.5mm jack, an abundance of ugly notches and swathes of Face Unlock features.. They condition the masses to feel comfortable and confident with the ugly abomination and inconvenience that is being fed by Apple.. Look at iPhone X.. before the anotchalypse the sales were sober..But only now it is selling well because the market have started to accept it
