my friend if you view a 720p video on a 1080p HD TV in its original state it wont fill up the screen and there will be a huge black borders around it. if you blow it up the picture will become blurry and pixelated
While a 1080p video will fill up your whole 1080p screen and you will see it in sharp high definition detail

There is aHUGR difference between 720 p and 1080 p HD video recording! That's why i waited forbhe Galaxy S 2! Its for future proofing atleast for the next 2 or 3 years. i am am so so content with my 30 fps GS 2.

What I want to know is why we (STILL) don't have an announcement for a dual-core WP7 device?

[deleted post]No, WP7 doesn't need dual core. Dual core uses a lot more battery life and the only reason why a whole lot of Android phones need dual core is because they are very laggy. WP7 is smooth.

AT&T Have been announcing ALOT of amazing phones after Verizon got the iPhone. Amazing what the loss of exclusitivity of the iPhone did.

What is really annoying about Mango / Windows / Microsoft is their literal "dumbing down" of specs for their phones...
To be fair to Sammy - this is the TOP TOP TOP of what they're allowed to do - you look at every other Mango phone and they've decided to play it safe / cheap / whatever with just medium power / processor / etc.
I just don't understand why you'd cap specs - sure - I can understand MINIMUM specs - but why cap things like single processor only, etc.?
It just means, technology-wise, Windows phones will always be sub-par...

Maybe when they reduce the cost of apps / games on Windows phones I'll give it a crack, until then, I'm steering well clear...

1080p video recording and playback is overhyped anyway. just think how much memory that would consume and most small size tv,s these days are 720p so in my opinion im happy with 720p recording and playback

Doesnt matter when.. samsung is everywhere now. Any new phone with lower specs than S2 is just 'okay' and people wont bother, unless different OS
