From this angle, it looks like a fancy shampoo bottle.
It's a shame the launch isn't global. There are literally tons of people who would gladly buy it no matter the price.

This means that in some areas, you will get a weak signal. And same with wi-fi, some frequencies will be missing as the phone is meant for the Asian market.
If you are with T-Mobile, then don't worry as they are using the most bands.

I'm pretty sure most of the people outside Taiwan who knows this brand get to know it from Youtubers lol.

Best example of having a good flagship nobody cares about is the htcU12 or was it u11+? forgot which is their latest, but nobody here knows that it exist as they don't advertise it, most likely because HTC is broke right now i assume, marketing is deadly expensive

Huawei is listening to their customers since they ditched their iOS 2.0, software before. I'm proud to have a Huawei phone (Y7 Prime 2017) because Oppo and Vivo are too common here.

€1000 is an absolute joke, and people said the iPhone X was a rip off. This won't be as fast and slick as Android counterparts, won't have an amazing camera or an Apple like ecosystem. So no reason to spend such money. Get yourself a Xiaomi mi 8 XE instead or a S9, Pixel 2 XL, Huawei p20 pro

Geric.770, 27 Jun 2018Even if I, as an enthusiast, accept the popularity of Oppo ... moreagreed, funny thing is I hated the shit outta all of these copycats until huawei started implementing their own ideas and design choices, i bought a mate 10 after my xperia xz premium died on me and it's a really good flagship for the 500 bucks i paid, that being said, the worst of these companies are the smaller chinese companies that copy bigger chinese copycats that originally copied samy/apple/htc - so to make it easier to understand they copy a copycat, how low can you fall i ask sometimes. Here at least in germany people wouln't buy a copy paste android from china because exactly people would call you poor for not buying the original. So most of them who can't afford an Iphone don't buy a chinese copy but an old used Iphone lmao... but hey this oppo x is really nice but no way in hell i would pay more than 700 bucks for a phone, rather go vacation for a week than spending it on a phone that is gonna be irrelevant in 12 months
