HTC Sensation to get a CPU speed bump to 1.5 GHz, says FCC

27 September, 2011
The Android smartphone will also have its battery upgraded to 1730 mAh. But are the changes USA-only?

I have a Sensation running at 1.5GHz works fine no problems only a light drop in battery life. Works smooth too but i am using the Sensation XE firmware. The 1.42 OTA update made the phone smooth even. First release was pretty horrid and the end only made it slightly better 3rd was done right. Over all i am happy with the phone. a 30% clock increase does help somewhat.

worst phone ive ever purchased perhaps. laggy sense 3.0, slower than the desire HD, reboots itself even after the update (and im talking about the replaced to brande new phone), screen freezes, gets hot that sometimes it seems it will burn my hands, fonts are ridculously small. sold it. too many call drops. sensation lost the signals on the places where even an outdated x10 would give 3 bars
