Potential ZTE nubia design has no notch or selfie cam, but a screen on the back instead

If you want a selfie camera on a bezel-less phone, you either put it in a notch or on a pop-up mechanism... or not at all.

Both side glass, Why not back display?

Premium Front Camera with proper LED flash alongside Main camera quality will cost more than an OLED display.

Use back display and get rid of all sorts of tricks and gimmicks to hide front camera and reach full screen.

No front camera = More space to use for standard ratio.
Back Display = No need front camera
Back Display = More power to light those spare LEDs up.
Back Display = Less cost to build
Back Display = More resource to render frames.

With the feature to disable back display, and turn it on for selfie/video call, the solution can work well.

After all, this looks good for a chance to make the phone both water resistant and have full screen display.

    people people, Nubia is not a sub-brand of ZTE anymore, ZTE sold most of its share on Nubia, they are mostly owned by many other companies now including partly zte, but zte doesn't even has 30 percent of the shares, which is why they get the SD845 etc

          Love the design my only issue is how do you get a case with decent protection for this or do you remove it every time you take a photo.. to be honest... I barely use my phone's camera.. my issue is I just can see everyone one else.. complaining.. or thinking the same and not buying it for that reason.. though I could be wrong and personally cameras are still years ahead of phone's.. mainly due to the fact of what's in them... and what's not in the phone..

                Anonymous, 28 Jun 2018Now that's innovation. Better than Find and NexSomewhat I agree. There's no need for fancy designs, pop up cameras and so on. Just go for the simple solution. This gets you better selfies, for sure, not that I care. It would be quite acceptable solution.
                This being said, I don't want to undermine VIVO's and Oppo's efforts in finding a solution. I appreciate their efforts a lot more than the solution found by Apple and mirrored by all the copycats. I fucking hate the notch. It's laziness packed in a marketing gimmick.

The second screen should be RGB so it can be used for video calling. Meizu dropped the ball on this one.

                              Thats a good idea... But additional display will take a toll on Battery Life... And that appears to be the Grayscale Display at the back... Don't know how it gonna appears to be...

                                I saw an article today, about Samsung filing a patent for a similar thing. I wonder if this rumor is somehow tied to the other article. Maybe they're one and the same, the only difference being the clickbait level?

                                      Love the design. Impressive screen to body. Could be the highest, maybe. I suppose a virtual camera button shows on back too? This is good solution for those that aren't interested in selfies much. Hope this is real.

                                        We still need to wait the responded for the big one's like Samsung or Apple, hope now they get inspired by this new notchless Era for next year's devices.
