Next year is going to be a big year for Samsung, They are determined to be first to market with 5G compatibility.. also marks the tenth anniversary for the galaxy line.

MsZero, 28 Jun 2018I like Samsung, my secondary phone is a Note 4, but lately ... moreIt is a bit odd that Samsung isn't on the front on the in-display solutions considering it is Samsung making the displays that allows it. The only reason I can come up with for Samsung being this conservative with the Note 9 is that they're afraid to take too much limelight away from the Galaxy X launch which I think is stencilled in for a launch later in 2018. This and the fact the Note 9 is for a, by Samsung sales standards, fairly limited demographics device with its phablet size. The risk is however that they'll end up being the last brand, except for the two dinosaurs Sony and HTC, to jump on the all-screen device train.

How on Earth would the new isocell be the culprit? They just announced it, and it would require a very different sensor design, and that would be a massive difference in product specifications. Gsmarena goes all out on Samsung rumors.

I like Samsung, my secondary phone is a Note 4, but lately it feels like Samsung is being way too conservative with its devices… not a lot of improvements between Note 8/Note9 nor S8/S9, same design, similars specs and way too expensive, especially midranger devices, (although I appreciate that they are not following notch trend), and I'm really exciting for Note 9 but...I know they can do much better than this.
Note series is a legendary phone and has built its great reputation all these years for something....
They need to keep it up with all these new crazy innovations competition is making. C'mon Samsung, show us what you are really made of.

They're not using different materials and it's the same size as the Note 8, not to mention the amazing battery life the guy reported to have gotten, battery life that would be difficult to achieve with the 3300 cell in the Note 8.

Waiting when Samsung adds HUGE Notch, removes jack and removes SD Card slot.
Without that the phone will be definitely useless.
