Samsung Galaxy Note9 S Pen will let you control music playback

According to a new leak, the stylus will also allow you to trigger a long-range remote self-timer.

    You know, when I look at this press release image, I can't stop thinking that they will let users remap Bixby button. After all, Samsung is well known for listening to the users feedback. Two years after battery issue they are ready to finally bring decent capacity, so who knows what else they have planned. I bought used Note 8 and I love it! Wait 6+ months, get it much cheaper. I would not spend more than 500 for a phone.

      Perhaps I am missing something but why would I want music controls on my S Pen when more than likely the headphones I'm using will have them anyway and probably make a better job of it. And of course the S Pen would now need a battery. Just seems like an utterly pointless gimmick to me, that causes more issues than it actually fixes. A fix to a problem I didn't have in the first place the caused a new problem I now do have as a result of something I didn't want in the first place. Even if my headphones don't have the controls by the time I've got the S-Pen out I might as well use the screen. I'm just really not seeing the point of it at all.

            Unlock by connected-wearable devices are more useful.

But it's not a deal breaker for me, though the amount of pranks I could pull with it.....

                                      They also patented an alcohol blower inside the S-pen, maybe we will get that in the Note 10. xD

                                        Maybe its hidden "under screen" fingerprint scanner on the pen that will slide/pop out. And you can use it as a keys to phone you won't unlock otherwise. Maybe even as keys to your house. So many possibilities... :)
