This World Cup for smartphones is just for fun and not to be taken too seriously. I mean, don't get mad that one smartphone or another don't reach the higher levels of the "competition". It doesn't reflect the situation in real life usage and it shouldn't be a start point in buying a new phone or changing your current one just because it failed on this.
But, for the fun part is actually nice to play it.

Whichever OEM fanboy you are, they all produce good stuff nowadays. Whether you choose the Samsung Galaxy S9+, Iphone X or Huawei P20 Pro, they're all splendid phones, you can't go wrong with any of them. The only problem here is the price. I don't care how many goodies a phone offers, as soon as the price gets over 600€, it is too expensive.
Right now I'm in love with the S9+ because of all the features packed inside plus the excellent camera, but it is too expensive, so I'll went until the S10 gets unveiled, by then the price of the S9+ would have dropped well below 600€.
I love the iPhone X for its esthetics and prestige, or course it also has a good camera, but then I've never been confortable with the Apple ecosystem restrictions plus its price will never gets below 600€ no matter how long I wait.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a wonderful camera and good battery, but that's about it. All the other aspects of the phone are too limited and camera and battery life cannot justify the high price.
Please people, don't kill me for this, but I'm not interested in the Oneplus 6, too many uncertainties.

S9+ is easily the best among the bunch here. Best display, latest and fastest LTE, top notch cameras with dual aperture 960 fps slow mo, literally a full fledged practical Pocket PC via DeX + Linux on Galaxy ( https://youtu.be/XPFemeuCTYg ), and best of all, no fugly notch.

[deleted post]So what's the best phone? The short answer is there is no best phone because another phone will always do something better. S9+ is the most POPULAR phone. And it got popular because it is among the best and is a recognizable brand.

We already know the S9+ will win due to more Samsung f-a-n-b-o-y-s in this site, and not because it is the best phone (we already know the S9+ isn't the best phone, only a complete f-a-n-b-o-y like someone in this comment section will say that it is the "best, most beautiful and complete" smartphone.
No need to vote on the finals, we already know who will win, this poll is just a piece of clickbait to get more web traffic.
