Sony Mobile is already not in the top 5 (Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo), and yet it Refuses to improve its ways.

Average camera in actual use (regardless of the specs on paper), terrible design language, strangest glitches on the planet, over priced, terrible quality control (too many issues) etc etc.

At this rate, it will be Next HTC for sure (it is Already Unprofitable).

Sony needs to THROW out All the Sony Mobile top management and start from Scratch. There is NO OTHER WAY to turn around things. And please concentrate on PRICE.

    Preorder $999, on sale for $699.

      These guys are so stubborn. No phone no matter its stop specs or the brand on it is worth a thousand dollars!

I have a XZ premium and the video quality when you find good content is mind blowing it seriously is that good. Yes the front facing speaker's aren't that loud but the quality out of the headphone jack and ldac enabled Bluetooth is amazing. Build quality is great, and the bezels well you can either live with them or without them, I personally don't mind them. Flashlight is a let down but the performance on the thing is amazing. I also have a Galaxy S9 plus and yes it is a great phone but I always go back to my XZ PREMIUM for media consumption. And yes the battery on the Sony is better. I also own an XZ2 and other than not being 4k and no headphone jack it is also an amazing phone. The one thing that annoys me though is the no headphone jack, even though the ldac enabled Bluetooth is the best I've heard.

            even, a high end Sony cannot be more than 550, because the cameras, the display and the speakers are not so good, do not put the brand name on top when come to this, since i see better with non-expert brands.

            Sony will be the next HTC, only in mobile division because Sony is much more than this.

              Better start making Pixel phones for google

                Somehow I could never Justify anything over $700 for a Sony Smartphone, REGARDLESS of the specs. It just Lacks that kind of customer draw.
