sumdumguy, 11 Jul 2018How can you pay something that's 200 USD with Google Pay? D... moreThe limit isn't £30 in the UK btw. It's £30 for contactless cards, not contactless devices such as Google and Apple pay. I've used Google pay above £30 plenty of times :)

It is a big misconception in the UK and some machines are physically limited to only handle £30 transactions but give Google pay a go next time for above £30. No harm in trying!

      How can you pay something that's 200 USD with Google Pay? Don't they have a limit on contactless payments in the USA? Here in the UK, it's (only) 30 GBP :(

I think it's to try strengthen adoption of Google Pay. if you have a loyalty card within Google Pay, you're more likely to add a card and spend money. It's quite a pain for developers to create multiple passes for both platforms so we created PassNinja to help ease the stress.

          AnonD-763696, 11 Jul 2018I had iphones and it didn't have money transfer .You can ask siri to send money even by paypal. Been like this for years.

                I hope that sending and requesting money will be free. As soon as that happens i'm ditching Paypal.
