I love the wide angle except for selfie camera but it's okay because I hate taking selfie and I think that's normal for a grown man. And not to mention the audio jack but I hate the software update policy of LG too slow even for security patches.

Dominique, 13 Jul 2018I gave Sammy a second try with the S8 but that gave me same... moreEh.. I hate Huawei for emui. And vanilla android won't cut it for me, so I settled with Samsung's UX. I really like the S8 and S9, but only if they had a flat screen.. I really miss the old days where 2.5D glass and curved screen weren't a thing, you could just slap a screen protector on the phone easily and keep going.
But I got used to it, it's just phone I'm gonna replace every now and then and it's a tool.. so no need for me to baby sit it. And that's how I settled with the S9 Plus, I almost returned it and swapped for an iOverpricedjunk X for the stupid curves that stopped from installing a proper screen protector.

I don't rely on marketing and advertisements when I'm buying any phone, instead I'm asking for friends' reviews and personal experiences then do a hands on on the shop, testing the units based on my preferences and needs.
I am not a Sammy hater but admittedly a Huawei fan -,-

It's a really good phone too, I hope you're having with it. I'm just against lame marketing strategies.. you know.. things that are meant to fool consumers. I hate google and microsoft for the same exact reasons, but I cannot argue with the quality of their products (Surfaces and Pixels).

The only thing is that Samsung is spending marketing on useful things like the CPU, GPU, screen, cameras.. not some gimmicks that honestly won't do much if it's paired with the stock EMUI. Try using a proper Samsung flagship or an iPhone for a change.
"Caution", you probably won't even look again at Huawei.
