Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium up for pre-order in China, price lower than expected

The device's price in China is much lower than expected and should secure some sales.

      The people that complain about the price are the people who will never buy the phone even if the phone is price at $500. $999 is very expensive but it's still on my consideration list because the camera is amazing. The only other I am waiting to see is the rog phone, I want to see it game performance and camera. If the rog phone have outstanding gaming performance while staying cool and good camera then I will buy the rog phone over this Sony.

      I am using Samsung S7 edge (my first Samsung) and this phone was very fast with Android 6.0 but 7.0 was very laggy and now 8.0 is just horrible, takes 5-10 seconds to open load Google map and 2-3 seconds to load a keyboard lol... It's just pathetic now using this phone. Even Samsung own browser now lag when opening and loading webpage. Yeah Samsung need to fire all their software engineer and hire much better one.

                  The test I am talking about even LG G7 surpassed it it didn't even break or bend. I know LG's quality but Huawei is a cheap company who has less quality.
                  Currently Sony has their zooming but not like the p20 pro so yes they can and will improve more because and don't worry Sony will do better this time.
                  Sony fixed the software this year with their new algorithm from Qualcomm. Their camera is good, it doesn't have any problems except they separate functions from the camera app into making their own apps.
                  Sony had camera problems but not now and starting from last year Sony improved the camera really well.
                  Honestly the other companies jumped on the dual camera when they couldn't improve the single less, yes the had mid range sensors from Sony but they could always prefect it like Google, but no one did. They took quickly the easiest way and 2 cameras can lessen the pressure of processing of the camera.
                  First all have you watched the water proof test? If not. Then go watch it because you will understand what I meant.
                  You will see in the test the iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9+ shutdown. The P20 pro and the G7 survived with problems. Sony never had an issue meaning its about perfecting.
                  I really doubted if the iphone X and the S9+ has a waterproof in the first place. The p20 pro and the G7 survived with problems meaning their waterproofing isn't perfect or their design was flaw of all of them.
                  No one matches Sony's qulity in this time so they can do what they want. Because every company does that and meaning your big doesn't mean you have to make it expansier but honestly why blame Sony when all of the are doing the same thing? Sony didn't do anything bad, Yes I wanted to be like 899 or 799 but it's OK Because already there are phones who surpassed the 1000 bar and when google released their pixel 2Xl it was priced for 920 and it was expansive for nothing. So why blame Sony.
                  Sony is big brand but their only problem is that they don't market, advertise or publicise their phones and that's what kills them. They release a treasure but don't market and expect people will buy something they don't know.
                  Their phones are quite good but what is missing is spreading the word and make people know you.
                  Cutting the price or making specs high are things that contribute the success but all the work relies on the marketing and the PR team of the company

                    KamAbdi, 12 Jul 2018Most of the phones are glass so they don't fail and they di... moreMost glass phone dont survive drop test if 2 phones survive out of hundreds it does not mean that those hundreds have poor build quality it means the two survivors have better quality than those hundreds and yes sony can add looseless zoom in future but that also means competition can also add higher iso sensors in the future and will be better than XZ2P (if they arent currently) the main problem is not their advanced sensors its their software the camera software on sony phones is just not as good as comeptition and yes some fail water test with higher ip but sometimes lower ip survives look at G5 it survived with that bottom chin gap and its not even ip rated and you have to accept the fact that sony has priced XZ2P too high there are other phones which can match it but cost less sony is not what it used to be years ago a top brand so its better if they stop pricing their phones like they are top brand

                        The ip certification is irrelevant on failing the waterproof test because the s9+ was ip 68 and it shutdown like the iPhone and the G7 ip 68 survived with problems same as the P20 Pro survived with problems
                        OK for the lossless zoom but those things are additions Sony could do in the future
                        The XZ2 P won't any reviews now because the places where it got released, they started pre orders so we are in the period of the pre orders and later we will see some videos.

                              As a huge Sony fan, $850 is reasonable, but $999 is not OK.

                                      The XZ2 Premium will show him his place just wait.
                                      So far the samples that some people did in Taiwan shows a great ability with 2 cameras than 3
                                      Samsung Galaxy S9+ doesn't have a best battery
