As a former Windows phone user, this makes me very angry and distrust Google even more. They can come up with Google Apps for this feature phone, yet not support Windows Phone at its peak days. I wouldn't have even minded Google not supporting WP, but they actively killed third party apps on WP.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2018Ok then BUT without responsive touchscreen, the app itself ... morenot really. i've used google maps in nokia symbian s40 - the app worked quite reliably and was easy to use (even though the phone didn't have a gps, compass, etc. and used only 2g gprs/edge!)

This looks like a nice featurephone.
It'd be great if I could pick one up online somewhere.
Currently using a Nokia C2-01, but I'm finding it has limitations.

Older people would approve, some just cant adapt to smartphones, so a featurephone that can access googlemaps is a huge plus for the elderly community.

That will give You fast typing. Got 4 blackberies, 12 androids, 4 iphones and still the blackberry with its full physical keyboard is most accurate and most fast when it comes to typing or searching for something.

Ok then BUT without responsive touchscreen, the app itself will feel clunky as hell especially if you need to find the place fast.
